Foster Kittens Available for Adoption

Generally kitten season blossoms in June with approximately 60 in foster. By August and September, we peak with approximately 90 kittens. We have several dedicated volunteers who accept applications for kittens and try to match them up with foster kittens. We then set up meet and greets for fosters and families prior to the kittens being ready for adoption. All of our kittens are adopted after they are 3 months old AND they are spayed/neutered. All of the medical care and surgery expenses are covered by donations to Volunteers For Animals.

If you are interested in a kitten, we suggest you email us so that we can begin the process of matching for you. This is an involved process so please do not call the Shelter. Your email will be forwarded to our dedicated volunteers who will then send you details including an adoption application. Our address is info@vol4animals.org

We are all volunteers and our dedicated kitten volunteers are diligent about responding to all inquiries. We appreciate your patience.

Sally is a female Tiger and White DSH. She's 5-6 months old and can be shy, but given time to warm up to you, she really ENJOYs being pet. She has been around dogs but kept her distance from them. She likes other cats.  She will make your patience pay off and provide you with years of love.

The kitten is currently in foster care. At the time of adoption, the kitten will be at least 3 months old, up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered. If you are interested in more information, please email us at info@vol4animals.org. They are not at the Shelter - please do not call the Shelter.

Regina: tiger calico and white. she is a very playful girl that would love to have some fur or human siblings to play with. She does well with adult cats and has lived/played with a 25lb dog. She came to us very sick with her other siblings, Gretchen and Karen. Both of her eyes are slightly cloudy that could become clearer, in time. She can see just fine based on how she plays, jumps, and gets around her foster home. Will take a nap on your legs once she gets tired and makes the cutest little chirps when she plays. Indoor only home please.

Gretchen: calico. She is your playful, fun looking kitten. She has been around other cats, dogs, and small children that know how to carefully handle kittens. Can be out-going and independent yet has her loveable times. She came to us very sick with her other siblings, Regina and Karen but has made a full recovery. Indoor only home please.

Karen, white calico. She can be a playful and feisty girl that is becoming more used to a busy household. She came to us very sick with her other siblings, Regina and Gretchen but has made a full recovery. Indoor only home please, she is starting to learn being held is no longer to receive medicine. She has been around other cats, dogs, and small children that know how to carefully handle kittens. Karen would do best in a calmer home, with older kids because she can be nervous still.
