Foster Kittens Available for Adoption

Generally kitten season blossoms in June with approximately 60 in foster. By August and September, we peak with approximately 90 kittens. We have several dedicated volunteers who accept applications for kittens and try to match them up with foster kittens. We then set up meet and greets for fosters and families prior to the kittens being ready for adoption. All of our kittens are adopted after they are 3 months old AND they are spayed/neutered. All of the medical care and surgery expenses are covered by donations to Volunteers For Animals.

If you are interested in a kitten, we suggest you email us so that we can begin the process of matching for you. This is an involved process so please do not call the Shelter. Your email will be forwarded to our dedicated volunteers who will then send you details including an adoption application. Our address is info@vol4animals.org

We are all volunteers and our dedicated kitten volunteers are diligent about responding to all inquiries. We appreciate your patience.

Lily is a female Black and White DSH.

Lily is four months old now. When she was younger, she was painfully shy. She has been in training for a few weeks and has really come out of her shell. She has learned to get along with other cats, loves being picked up and cuddled, comes when she’s called (especially when there is food involved). She is playful and smart. She is still a little shy in new situations and with new people. She would like a semi-quiet home with at least one other friendly cat she can play with. She’ll need a slow careful introduction to her new home and new people, but once she feels comfortable, she’ll be your friend for life.

The kitten is currently in foster care. At the time of adoption, the kitten will be at least 3 months old, up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered. If you are interested in more information, please email us at info@vol4animals.org. They are not at the Shelter - please do not call the Shelter.
