Hi Brenda,
Here are a couple of pictures of Lego at his leisure. Please share them with your crew.
Best regards,

Here are some photos of Toby.  I thought you'd like to see him at least this way. You can see in some of the photos he can get really comfortable.  He enjoys bird-watching. He's also excited about our move to California.  We just haven't decided if he's going to fly on Pet Airways with the other dogs or if he's going to ride with us.  He and my husband (who previously was strictly a large breed man) are very bonded!   Hopefully we'll see you next year at the reunion.

Thank you!  What a great picture - we do enjoy visiting your group...you have a wonderful organization and we appreciate all you do for critters.
Buddy's Family

Buddy was one of our first rescue dog's out of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. He and his family came to visit us a the Festival of Fur in July. We snapped a beautiful photo of Buddy and sent it onto his family.

SampsonDeliah67

Sampson and Deliah both came to the Festival of Fur. It was the first time they had seen each other since the Fall of 2007. The two labs came to us with severely fractured right front legs. We were able to find a vet in PA willing to do the surgery at a reasonable cost. Both labs went on to be placed in wonderful homes and have recovered quite well from their injuries. They were quite excited to see each other again!

Topper15

In November '08 we adopted Topper (originally named Simon) from the shelter.  We felt grateful owing to recent losses. Topper adopted us immediately, not hiding for even an hour upon his arrival at home.  He has the run of the household and our lives, so life with Topper is not dull.  His picture is attached.  Thanks so much!

Ben094
Isabella22

Hi,
We adopted Ben from you 2 years ago and Isabella from you 1 year ago. They are amazing dogs. Ben is starting rally obedience and agility. He will be going for the canine good citizens test soon hopefully to become a therapy dog. Bella is a wonderful dog with a lot of attitude and we love that about her. They get along with each other great. Just wanted to thank you for two amazing dogs and will always think of this shelter first when we plan to adopt another animal.

HANDS HELPING PAWS

Volunteers For Animals would like to take a moment to thank the many people in the community that help us find homes for the many cats and dogs that find their way into the Genesee County Animal Shelter. Without their kindness and support, our job would be more difficult.

The Daily News frequently prints "Post for the Paws" in the Saturday edition of the paper. It is always a large colorful ad that features a cat and a dog.

WBTA Radio regularly announces our events and special requests on the air and on their website as a community service.

The Genesee Valley Penny Saver has an "Adopt A Pet" page on their website and print page where we feature a cat or dog available for adoption.

Volunteers For Animals is now on Facebook. Come join us and help spread the word about getting shelter animals into great homes. We are just getting started and we need lots of friends!
